SMS Terms & Conditions

The messaging program
Remedy Automation LLC sends text messages on behalf of the small service businesses (such as plumbers, HVAC, and electricians) that use our AI phone-receptionist service. There are two kinds of messages:
- To a business’s customers — appointment confirmations, appointment reminders, and replies to your CONFIRM, CANCEL, or RESCHEDULE texts about your own appointment.
- To a business owner — lead and booking alerts about calls to their own business line.
How we collect SMS consent
We collect SMS consent two ways, and we record each one. Both are shown here so they can be verified.
1. Business owners — opt in at signup, in-app
When a business signs up for Remedy Automation, before the dashboard unlocks they must read and actively check a consent box that includes SMS consent. The acceptance is recorded with the user, timestamp, agreement version, and IP address. This is the exact screen and the box a business owner checks:
2. Callers — verbal opt-in on a recorded call
When the AI receptionist books an appointment for a caller, it asks, word for word: “Would you like a text confirmation of your appointment?” A confirmation text is sent only if the caller explicitly says yes, and the opt-in is logged with the caller’s number, date and time, and the call recording.
Because Remedy Automation is a phone-based service, consent is collected on the call and in-app at signup as shown above — not through a public web form. Consent is never a condition of any purchase, and we send transactional messages only (no marketing).
Message frequency
Message frequency varies. Messages are transactional — typically about one to three messages per appointment or lead.
Cost
Message and data rates may apply. Remedy Automation does not charge you for these messages, but your mobile carrier’s standard message and data rates may apply.
Getting help
For help, reply HELP to any message, or email bryan@remedyautomation.com.
Opting out
You can cancel text messages at any time by replying STOP to any message. After you reply STOP, we will send one confirmation message and then stop sending you texts. To start receiving messages again, opt in again on a call (customers) or contact us (business owners).
Carriers
Carriers (including, for example, AT&T, T-Mobile, and Verizon) are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Privacy
We handle your information as described in our Privacy Policy. We do not sell your information, and we do not share mobile opt-in information or phone numbers with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes.
